He swipes through her profile and decides to send her his rose, also known as a super like, of the week to show how interested he is in getting to know her. It was a match! 11 days later. It's Superbowl Sunday and Zach still hasn't heard from Bari. He figured she was not interested and was later surprised to see a message from her. Bari apologizes for the delay in response and the conversation not only continues, but progresses to an eventual first date. Zach suggests they exchange numbers and the two started texting nonstop, as all hinge matches do. Through their conversations, Bari had a feeling that Zach was different and could be someone special. February 19, 2022. Zach arrives at American Bar 20 minutes early to make sure he and Bari have the best table in the house. He anxiously awaits Bari's arrival, to the point where he doesn't sit down. Before she arrives, Bari pictures Zach to be a man who is cool, calm, and collected. Little did she know, she was about to meet someone who not only matched her animated energy, but surpassed it. At 8:00 pm, Bari arrives and sees the tall man standing in the middle of the restaurant, assuming it had to be Zach. 5 hours and 3 espresso martinis later, Bari and Zach shut down American Bar and head to The Happiest Hour where they spent another 2 hours getting to know each other. Safe to say they hit it off. May 2022. Bari and Zach fall in love. March 2023. Bari and Zach move to the Upper East Side together in their first shared apartment. September 27, 2023. Zach surprises Bari with an elaborate scavenger hunt, featuring some of their favorite spots, and ends with a proposal under the Manhattan Bridge. Bari and Zach are extremely excited to start the rest of their lives together and are eager to share their love with their family and friends!
