The safety of our guests and the people at Herman & Luther’s is our number one priority. We have guests coming who have had serious health issues in the past and do not want to jeopardize their safety. If you think there is even a possibility you have and might spread COVID-19 please stay home. If you wake up sick the morning of August 8th, please stay home! We will have grandparents and parents and people from all over the place. We value your safety and theirs & do not want anyone to walk out of our special day ill. We appreciate your cooperation. Many counties (including Lycoming County where Montoursville is) are open in Pennsylvania. Our wedding is on, we will update you all if anything changes. We understand the concerns associated with travel or being around a large group of people. We will be inside for the reception, if you are concerned, we understand your RSVP that you cannot attend. These are unprecedented times and we have concern for your safety!
Please bring a mask with you to wear while at the ceremony and reception. They will protect you and those around you.
Yes! It is going to be hot! We recommend dresses with slits or dresses that end at the knees! Gentlemen, wear slacks and a collared shirt without a suit jacket. Only the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. We will have water available during the ceremony & cocktail hour. Don’t be shy & hydrate up! We chose August because we love the summer and love the heat. We hope you can enjoy the sun & the beautiful scenery with us for a short ceremony before we go inside for the reception.
First of all, we appreciate your generosity! We have some things on our Amazon registry that can be found on the registry tab of this site. However, we are working on saving money and experiences! We are interested in a getting a wine subscription for our first year married and having experiences like that rather than things. Everything on the registry is a great option but also feel free to get creative if you want to get something else!
If you were invited to the wedding and did not receive an invitation, it may have been returned to us or lost in the mail. You can RSVP without it if you are on the guest list. We have had a random set of invitations returned especially around the Blair County area. We are resending them, apologize for the inconvenience, and hoping you get them soon!

Emily moved to Montoursville just last summer! Her father, Dennis, is best buddies with Herman and she had the privelidge of visiting the barn a few times as it was being refurbished. She fell in love, shared it with Trey, and so did he! Trey and Emily can't think of a better place to start their future between the natural beauty, rolling landscape, and rustic feel! They hope you love it too!
We will be having a buffet style dinner so that you can pick whatever you would like to eat! If you have any concerns please reach out the the bride and groom or their immediate family!
