Shortly after we started dating - a B&E tradition was born. Any time we clinked glasses for significant milestones or important memories - the associated corks would be marked and placed into a bowl. What started small eventually grew into a treasure chest of personal moments and memories with friends & family. The bowl has been upsized a few times over the years :) Out of the blue one day, El revealed a last minute work trip to San Francisco and suggested I tag along. With little hesitation, I agreed and didn’t think too much more of it. San Francisco was our first trip together a few years prior. We spent a day revisiting locations from our first trip and were supposedly meeting friends for dinner. Along the walk to dinner, El led me down a trail to a clearing facing the Golden Gate Bridge - the first place we visited as a couple together (actually biked across it #athletes). Elliot then pulled a cork from earlier in the day out of his pocket revealing the words “Will you marry me?” We are so excited to celebrate and collect corks with you as we start our next chapter.
