Groomsman
Favorite Memory of the Groom: I always remember Matt for his kindness. He has always been so quick to help when he can. There was this one time we had taken a long stroll in the evening, back when we resided in Woodbridge (Virginia), and we came across a bunny rabbit. Now, to me, I assumed this rabbit was of the wild sort. Not domesticated, per say. Matt, on the other hand, was concerned and a bit alarmed. “Who’s pet rabbit is that?” Matt wondered aloud. “Well” I said, sensing there may be some small misunderstanding, “I’m not so sure that it is someone’s pet.” To be honest, I didn’t know this to be true, but, it seemed a fair bet that it was wild, considering its dark brown complexion. I assumed only white rabbits were pets which I later discovered was false.

“Then how did it get here?” Matt replied. I didn’t know quite how to respond. On one hand, I was surprised he hadn’t considered it to be of the wild sort. On the other hand, I considered it really could be someone’s pet rabbit. I paused for a moment, to avoid being abrupt, and considered the dilemma. After a moment I responded. “O well, not much we can do” “Yea, I guess” Matt said, sounding somewhat unconvinced. “Well, what if it gets hungry?” Matt again replied. “It’s outside dude, there is a bunch of grass. I dunno, it could probably eat grass.” “But it’s cold! Don’t you think it will get cold? Don’t you think we should find the owner? Somebody is probably looking for their pet rabbit.” I was still unconvinced, but Matt had a point, it was getting cold and we were still on a walk. “I’m sure it will be fine man.” I said “it’s not like it’s a busy neighborhood. Besides, if it’s a pet, I’m sure the owners are looking!” I patted him on the back. “Let’s go on home Matt. I’m sure the bunny will find his way.” As we walked off I couldn’t help but notice, out of the corner of my eye, a quick glance back towards the bunny from Matt. We never saw that particular bunny again, but I’m sure it found it’s way. There was, after all, a lot of grass.

Favorite Memory of the Groom: Favorite Memory of the Groom: I have so many. He is a wonderful and amazing guy. The 1st Memory is that he is very Persistent. When he started his real estate journey he wanted to work with me. I told him no because people annoy me. He kept asking and I was like he really serious about this business. I went ahead in partner up with him. We crush close to $500K our 1st year together. He was the computer person and systems person and I was the power negotiator. He didn't just learn from me. I learn a lot from him. I will be forever Thankful for the friendship and business relationship we share.

Favorite Memory of the Groom: Matthew was a Batman fan from an early age. We had to tie a blanket around his neck to simulate a cape. His grandmother made him a real cape complete with bat-symbol on the back. He wore the cape everywhere he went for about 2 years starting when he was 3 or 4.
Step-Mother of the Groom
Favorite Memory of the Groom: When I met Matt's father, Mike, I felt I had met the kindest, sweetest man on earth. A few months later he invited me to attend Matt's graduation from college. It didn't take long to realize that Matt was "a chip off the old block" with the wonderful traits his Dad processes. The following Christmas my Rotary Club was doing a fundraiser at the KY Horse Park for children to visit with Santa. One evening we were low on elves to help "corral" the crowd. I called Matt and my other son, Gabe, and asked if they could please come help? Yes, they both responded and came as quickly as possible. Once they arrived they saw me dressed in an elf outfit and holding one in each hand. They paused and asked who would be wearing those? I responded, "You! We are going to be Santa's elves tonight." As we gathered around Santa for a picture, Matt leaned over and quietly asked me, "Now, why are we here?" I said, "to bond with your step mother & brother and spread Christmas cheer." He flashed his sweet smile and responded, "Oh, OK!" We worked hard, but had a lot of fun and a good memory!
Mother of the Groom

Grandfather of the Groom
Favorite Memory of the Groom: I had just recently moved to Lexington KY and planned a special day with my grandson and granddaughter (Rea). I didn’t know the roads too well yet so I ended up getting lost. Rea asked “Granddad, are we lost?” And I replied “Well, yes we are.” Matthew’s eyes had gotten as big as proverbial saucers. Our special day ended as we got pizza and drove back home once I figured out where I was.
