We met in November of 2021 at a dog park just a couple weeks before Sophia got Ace!

Ryan bought tickets to the Idaho Steelheads (the Boise minor league hockey team) & when we arrived at the ICCU Arena, there were no Steelheads on the ice—there was a Pee Wee league game! The Steelheads we’re playing in Salt Lake! So instead of watching hockey, we got beers at Prost & had dinner at Diablo & Sons and Ryan recovered from his fumble.

Hometown dates took place in June with a stop in SoCal for Ryan to meet Sophia's family (& for us to see Christopher, Sophia's Brother, graduate from high school!) followed by a trip to Colorado for Sophia's chance to meet Ryans Family & to celebrate our friend Brendan & Jess' wedding!

Ryan proposed at Lovely Hollow Farms in Caldwell Id while Sophia’s Dad, brother & sister were in town!
