Question

I've never been to a wedding of Jehovah's Witnesses. What will it be like?

Answer

Our wedding will be a simple ceremony held in a Kingdom Hall, our place of worship. It will consist of a Bible-based talk, our Scriptural vows, and a prayer. For more information, please see https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/jw-weddings/.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests please dress modestly and respectfully. Semi-formal attire is suggested. Think elegant, but formal evening wear or black tie is optional. For men, we suggest a suit or dress slacks with a blazer. For ladies, we suggest knee-length, tea-length or midi-length dresses, but a full-length dress is also welcome if you choose. Just wear what makes you feel and look your best! However, please leave your jeans and sneakers at home (no matter how stylish they may be).

Question

Is there pre-arranged transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony or reception?

Answer

No, there is no pre-arranged transportation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free, private parking at both the Kingdom Hall and our reception venue.
