WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!

Barb and Kevin met at the Circle K store where Kevin works and manages the store and Barb was and still is a regular customer. Barb and her mom used to stop into the store on the way to work every morning and Kevin was always working when they came in. After about a year, Barb started to notice Kevin and would try to talk to him every chance she got. Little did Barb know that Kevin is the quiet, shy type and never said too much whenever Barb tried to talk with him. Around Thanksgiving of 2021, Barb went to Circle K and of course Kevin was working and there she started fishing Kevin. She asked him if he had plans for the Holiday, and Kevin said that he was going to his sisters for dinner. Barb asked if his wife was cooking at all and Kevin stated that he was not married. Kevin did not know it at this time, but Barb was totally giddy that he was single. One day, Barb got the idea to leave a note for Kevin with his assistant manager that was working, asking Kevin to give her a call when he got a chance to. The next day, during work hours, Kevin called Barb, and she was busy at that time and had asked him if he could call her that evening. According to Kevin, he says that he knew at that time that he knew what this phone call was about. Kevin indeed called Barb that evening, though Barb was on call at the time and hoping that the tones did not go off and really wanted to talk to Kevin. They ended up talking for talk 4 hours that night and the tones did not go off at all. During that conversation, Barb did ask Kevin if he would want to go out on a date the following Saturday. Kevin agreed. Even though they had a date planned, they talked every night over the phone since then. And the calls would last for hours every time. Saturday came and they met at the Ranch steak house and sat there after eating and just talked until the restaurant closed and they decided to go to Proz. There Barb and Kevin sat in the back side where they were alone and talked until the bar closed. During their visit at Proz, Kevin told Barb that one of his sisters had set him up on a blind date for the following Friday, so he did not want to start anything yet with anyone until he went out on that blind date. But the date went so well that Barb got nervous about Kevn's blind date and deep down was hoping it was a flop, even though Barb and Kevin talked every night since that first phone call. Fast forward to that Friday, Kevin called Barb later that night after he got home from the blind date. At the time Barb was constantly wondering how their date went and was hoping Kevin would say something about it. After a while he finally mentioned his date. When Kevin finally mentioned the date and said that the blind date was not what he wanted Barb was so thrilled but of course she didn't let it be known until the next night when they went on their second date. Barb told Kevin that she was nervous about their date and was deep down hiding, hoping that it was a flop. Well, everyone here we are, 3 years later, so very thankful that Kevin's blind date flopped and we are soon to celebrate our wedding with all of you by our side.
