We're getting married!

In May of 2023 I decided to try my hand at online dating. Never thinking that I'd have any luck actually finding someone I'd marry. So I'm scrolling through this dating app and Ben's profile pops up. I remember thinking, “Oh my goodness, this guy is so good-looking!" Naturally, I swiped right, but honestly, I didn’t think for a second that someone like him would swipe back. Next thing you know, I got the notification that we’d matched — and there was a message waiting for me in my inbox! After a couple of texts back and forth, Ben realized that I lived 3 and a half hours away, and told me that he wasn't interested in pursuing a long distance relationship, but didn't mind just getting to know me as friends. Fair enough, right? So we continued talking and a few more messages in, Ben sent me another text that said, “Okay, I need to meet you in person.” And that was it — the beginning of something we both knew was too good to miss. And the rest, as they say, is history!
