We met at the Beer Dabbler held at Midway Stadium. The Beer Dabbler was technically a work event for Bethany, but was attending with Hannah and Kirsten. Matthew just liked beer and was hanging out with Drew and Aaron. Before we continue we need to explain the inter-connectivity of our friends. Bethany went to High School with Aaron (and Cole). Matthew and Drew went to High School with Kirsten. We all went to Stout. The girls ran into the boys and the connections were made. We ended up hanging out most of the evening and Bethany drove everyone to St. Paul in The Current van. Matthew had really taken advantage of those small sample sized beers and gave really unclear directions to his preferred drop off location. Long story short, Bethany told Matthew to get out of the van. He did. The next day Bethany found Matthew on Facebook and apologized, thinking he would keep the conversation going. He didn't. Flash forward to the holidays. Bethany was photographed at Tony Jaros enjoying a very green drink. Matthew was in Palm Springs and liked the photo. He commented "Don't know you that well but you look like a BOSS." Almost instantly Bethany gushed to Hannah and Kirsten "OMG Matthew Sweet liked my photo! He is so cute." Two weeks later Bethany suggested to Aaron that he should attend her Trivia night and bring Matthew Sweet. They did. The rest is history.
