Things To Do

Whether you’re looking to relax, explore, or just eat and drink well we’ve got you covered!

Restaurant Recommendations

Driftwood Café (Breakfast)– Heads up, they don’t take reservations and there’s often a wait, so plan accordingly. Social House (Breakfast) – Ryan swears by their chilaquiles Sprouts Café (Breakfast) – Great option for healthy eats to start your day. The Boathouse on the Pier (Lunch/Dinner) - Located on the longest pier in Tahoe! This is the perfect spot to grab a bite & drinks right on the lake, with views. Lucky Beaver – Our favorite burger joint! Open 24/7, casual, & worth the wait (yes, there might be one). Blue Line Pizza (Lunch/Dinner) – Delicious, laid-back pizza spot. Hangar Taproom (Lunch/Dinner) – Outdoor brewery with a selection of local beers and food trucks. Riva Grill (Lunch/Dinner) – Right on the water with indoor/outdoor seating. A bit more upscale, and a classic Tahoe favorite. Sage Room (inside of Harvey's Hotel on the 19th Floor) or The Edge @ Edgewood Resort – More elevated dining experiences if you’re in the mood to treat yourself!

Beaches

Beaches

Camp Richardson (La Rocca family favorite, famous rum runner drinks here are a MUST!) and Zephyr are both within 15 minutes of South Lake Tahoe and have restaurants. Sand Harbor Beach is about 30 minutes north, but the views are stunning. Please anticipate for any parking fees and availability. Rentals for chairs/umbrellas might be available at an additional cost. We also recommend checking out Kiva Beach if you are traveling with your pets! There is not a lot of shade at this beach, so please plan accordingly!
