We're Getting Married!

September 2019 Dating apps were the most popular way to meet someone, so why wouldn't Barb and Luke both be on one? Hinge was a favorite and Barb joined not expecting much, but low and behold she swiped right on a cute guy and up popped his response to her "Ideal Friday Night" prompt (Binge watching Marvel movies and drinking beer, of course!). Fast forward about two weeks… Barb and Luke meet in-person for the first time after chatting every single day, all day. From that moment on, they spent every possible second that they could together (with Luke living in Charleston, SC and Barb in Myrtle Beach, SC). December 2019 Out with Luke’s family celebrating his brother, Marc's, last concert before he moved to Colorado, Luke FINALLY asked Barb to be his girlfriend. January 2020 Barb accepts a job in Charleston, SC (since she was there every other weekend anyway), and Luke suggests she move in with him (which is crazy since they’d known each other for a total of 4 months). In his usual calm and cool fashion, Luke casually says I love you. February 2020 Barb officially moves in and as they say, the rest is history!
