Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. We love dressing up and would love for you to get all dressed up as well!

Question

What does "Cocktail Attire" mean? I don't understand fashion and need examples!

Answer

Cocktail is essentially semi-formal for the evening. Think about what you might wear on a fancy date- it's time to whip out more elevated fabrics and a bit of glam! Feel free to bring the party with bold colors and patterns and a little sparkle if you'd like. Some examples for the one-piece loving crowd include a cocktail dress, knee- through midi-length dress, little black dress, or chic jumpsuit. Those opting for separates might wear a pantsuit, dressy separates, or dress shirt and tie, and optional blazer, suit, or sport coat. We want everyone to be able to dance the night away, so please wear whatever dressy shoe you feel comfortable in. You might try a dressy sandal, flats, heels, loafers, or oxfords. We do ask that you give your flip flops, sneakers, and muck boots a break for the evening. :) Still stuck? Feel free to ask either bride. Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our evening begins with a cocktail hour, so no need to arrive earlier than 5pm. (In fact, our venue will only allow people in for set up before 5pm, and we don't want you waiting in the cold!) Dinner will begin at 6pm. Please plan your arrival time appropriately to allow time for mingling and seating prior to dinner.

Question

Can my kids come?

Answer

As much as we love yours kiddos, we have decided not to invite children under 16 years of age to our reception. Enjoy the date night!

Question

Do I get a plus one? Can I bring my uncle's cousin's step family?

Answer

Due to limited space, only the number of individuals on your invite will be allowed.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

March 1, 2025. In order to give our vendors the final guest count on time, if we have not received your RSVP by March 1st we will assume you are not able to attend. Your presence will be missed!

Question

What should I know about parking?

Answer

The closest public parking ramp to the venue is the 2nd Street Ramp (14 2nd St. SE). Parking is free after 5pm until 2:30am, however there is an overnight charge ($16) if you choose to leave your car there and pick it up in the morning. Please note: The surface lot behind the building has a 2 hour limit and charges $2.50 an hour!

Question

Do you have hotel blocks?

Answer

We have reserved a small block of rooms at Hotel Indigo, just steps from the venue (and attached to the closest parking ramp!) Rooms must be booked by March 3rd to receive our discounted rate. Please find more details about booking, as well as other area hotel recommendations, under the Accommodations tab.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We are hosting select drinks for the evening, including beer and wine options as well as all non-alcoholic beverages. If you are a a picky drinker, our venue has a full cash bar available as well.
