Brendan and I met on Bumble! We think both of us were at the best part of our lives when we met! The first time he texted me, he always talks about how he never heard back from me and was so confused since we had a great conversation on the site. Well, thank goodness he checked his message and realized he texted the wrong number! Talk about an almost lost opportunity. We first met on a date at Sons of Thunder for a poke bowl during my lunch break. This was actually the first date we both had ever been on for lunch with no alcohol, it was so great. Brendan was actually on his mandatory time off from his job (Deutsche Bank) and was leaving for Berlin that evening where he was running the marathon that upcoming weekend! It was amazing how quickly we knew we had just become the best of friends. Don’t get us wrong, It was hard at first trying to intertwine our lives as we had been so single and independent for so long. So worth it!! Fast forward we have been together for over 2 years and got engaged in Ireland in May of last year. We had gone to London first so he can, yet again run another marathon haha:) He had the ring on him the entire week!!! Didn’t even break a sweat. May 2nd we were driving to Dublin from Shannon and he was a little frazzled about the time we would get to the Clontarf Castle. It was a bit strange to me, but honestly, I would never ever think he would carry a ring abroad, let alone a whole week! I was fumbling with my dress like I always, do when all of a sudden he plopped down on his knee. It was so amazing, I swear we both still talk about how we felt drunk without having a sip of alcohol. Such a great trip. During the pandemic, we were fortunate enough to get married at Central Park with our closest family at our side, and of course all you beautiful people virtually! On April 19th we welcomed a new addition to our family, little baby Teagan James!
