Despite both being political science majors at the University of Central Florida, Barbara and Harry did not cross paths until they were selected as two out of twenty Knights sent to intern at the Florida State Capitol in the spring of 2019. They became friends as teammates in an impressive game of Trivial Pursuit and enjoyed spending time together for several months before realizing... they wanted to continue enjoying each other's company as they finished their degrees back in Orlando. Fast forward through quarantine, multiple moves, and a character-building job market, Harry found himself driving close to 400 miles each weekend to visit Barbara in law school. Once they survived law school, they knew nothing could separate them. After spending years in a medium-distance relationship, Barbara and Harry took the next step and returned to Orlando with new jobs, a new apartment, and a new dog (the distinguished Juliette M. Gil). 380 days into this new phase of their lives, on their 6th anniversary of dating, Harry surprised Barbara with a well-timed diamond pulled out of a picnic basket. It took her a few seconds to process, but eventually she said yes.
