Since meeting in middle school, Susan and Barb have been friends for many years, but it wasn't until college that they became inseparable. After graduating, Susan came over to the Pennington household for nightly dinners while they hunted for an apartment in Stamford. Though "Stamvegas" gave them so many wonderful memories, Susan eventually decided to purchase a house and of course, Barb called dibs on a room. Five years of living together makes you sisters, through the good, the bad and the dirty laundry, Susan has always been an amazing friend.
Jason Cohen
Best Man
Jason is Matt's younger brother and with that comes tough love, inevitable fighting and most importantly, an unbreakable bond that only brothers can share. Jason is funny, caring, and can tell you anything and everything you didn’t ask about Disney! Growing up just 18 months apart, they share a passion for all things Boston sports (even though Jason started as a Yankees fan), skiing, and Bruce Springsteen.
Alli LoBello

Barb and Alli met sophomore year when they both joined Kappa Kappa Gamma together at Lafayette. They became friends immediately and created so many epic memories throughout college like planning Kappa-DG prom, "eating beers", traveling to Ireland to visit Alli while she was abroad, and living together senior year. Alli threw a BARB-B-Q extravaganza for Barb's birthday senior year, while also playing nurse after Barb's first ankle injury. Alli is outgoing, friendly, and so caring. Barb is so lucky to have her as a friend for life!
Zack Kaplan

Zack and Matt have been friends since the day they were born. Growing up, Matt would call Zack’s house waiting for him to wake up at 2:30 PM every weekend so they could hang out, play baseball, burn CDs, play video games, and stack wood in the garage. Some of Matt’s most fond sporting event memories are going to Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics games with Zack and his family. Even though Zack now lives in San Francisco they are still as close as they ever were.
Kit Schaefer

Though it seemed to have started at the Country Club of New Canaan, Kit and Barb have actually known each other forever since their parents were best friends before they were born. Every summer it was Kit and Barb as "pool rats", rain or shine they played water polo, golf, tennis, and went swimming and diving together. Countless sleepovers, Fourth of July parties, and CCNC swim banquets. No matter how far they lived apart they have supported each other through middle and high school, college, relationships, apartments, and more. Recently they shared a love for Chicago since they both finally got to live in the same city! Kit is wicked smart, witty, kind, and an all around great person to be around. Barb is lucky to have her as a friend, and she someone that Barb will always cherish.
Joe Kovel

Joe and Matt formed a bond during the long nights spent in the basement of 208 Walnut Place in Syracuse, New York doing puzzles and funneling borscht. Pledging together and having the most fun you NEVER want to have again helped forge a friendship that would continue long after graduation. As sophomore year roommates in AEPi, Matt takes credit for introducing Joe to his wife, Rachel, who is one of Matt’s closest cousins since they were in KinderCare together.
Lauren Cohen

Lauren and Barb immediately connected once Barb met the Cohen family. Barb is the big sister that Lauren never had, and Lauren is the baby sister that Barb has always wanted. Soon to be "seeesters" for life, our bond will continue to grow. Lauren is smart, beautiful and a soon to be Dentist!
Jared Peraner

Jared and Matt grew up together on the hillside of Camp Bauercrest starting in 1999. Although never in the same bunk until after waiter year (’05), Matt and Jared instantly became friends playing tetherball, whist, and fungo on the A Diamond. Once their camp careers ended, Matt and Jared stayed close with family dinners in Westford with Barry and Cyn and a yearly tradition of visiting a new baseball stadium to watch the Red Sox. Even though they live on opposite coasts, they are still as close as they were back in their camp days.
Kathryn Pennington

Kathryn has been one of the biggest role models in Barb's life since her brother, Peil, met Kat almost 10 years ago. Kat has this amazing way of making everyone around her laugh and light up a room. She finds a way to always be positive even in the toughest of situations. Kat is an amazing Mother to Peil Jr. and has been a great big sister teaching Barb many things about life and motherhood. She is funny, courageous, fearless, and the big sister that Barb always wanted.
Peil Pennington Sr.
Groomsman
Peil is Barb's older brother and has developed a special type of bond with Matt over the last couple of years. Trash talking Red Sox-Yankees and Patriots-Giants has been fun since the day they met and will continue long into the future. They also share a love of golf, and the first time they played together they fittingly ended in a tie. Peil has helped Matt grow into an awesome uncle, and he has slowly helped him get over his fear of holding a baby.

Commonly known as "Peilie” or "Peilie Bear", this little bundle of love is Barb and Matt's nephew. He is growing up so fast and is going to be so smart, sophisticated, and funny just like his Mom and Dad!
