Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Don't forget your dancing shoes, those are mandatory!
Please arrive no later than 5:15 pm in order to avoid delaying (or missing) the ceremony!
The ceremony is being held in an open air, covered building. The reception will be indoors with air conditioning. There is an outdoor courtyard that will be used during our Sips and Snacks hour.

Please do! There is place on the RSVP card to let us know of any restrictions, or feel free to contact Barb or Chris. Our caterer can easily accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets with advanced notice.
PACKARD PROVING GROUNDS: The Packard Motor Car Company began building a proving ground on this site in 1926. Packard, like its competitors, had previously tested cars on city streets. Architect Albert Kahn designed the principal buildings. By 1929 the complex included the Gate Lodge, warehouses, laboratories, a high-speed test track, and twelve miles of roads simulating the worst conditions of the day. During World War II (1942-1945) Packard built aircraft and marine engines while leasing the grounds to Chrysler for tank testing. Packard ceased production in 1958, and the Ford Motor Company purchased the site in 1961. In 2000 Ford and the Packard Motor Car Foundation began working to preserve the design complex portion of the site.
Yes! Tours of the Tank Test Center, where the cars are on display, will take place during our reception for our guests to enjoy.
