I'd never heard the song before, but the song itself, along with the effort taken to create and send me something so touching and personal, solidified in our hearts that this was our song. I listened to that song several times a day for at least a month. After a while, the song itself fell to the wayside, and we had nearly forgotten about the first cold Winter night that he recorded and sent it to me. Until a few months ago, when, without my knowledge, Keith recorded a brand new version of our song. He worked while I slept, jamming out in secret and quietly editing while I sat, completely unaware, right beside him. When it was finally finished and he revealed it to me, I listened to it over and over, while (understandably) sobbing with pure happiness. It was our song. He worked in secret for over a month, between the pandemic, and kids, and everything, to make the most beautiful romantic gesture I could ever hope for. Our song, just for us. Words can't express how much our love has grown over the last 4 years. Nothing can measure the love, faith, and persistence of our relationship.
