We’re Getting Married

14 years ago, a boy raised in Chicago and a girl born in Nebraksa wound up at the same middle school in Houston, Texas in 2006. Bao and Zakiya became fast friends during 8th grade and several years of friendship acted as the foundation of a budding romance that bloomed during their senior year of high school. After high school the pair stayed united as distance forced them apart. Zakiya pursued a degree in Psychology and Bao began cultivating his culinary career. After what felt like ages of long distance, the two lovebirds were finally reunited and they spent the next few years learning how to "adult" together. They leaned on each other during their hardest times and they encouraged and supported each other’s success. After 10 years together, Bao and Zakiya are ready to tie the knot!
