It all started at UC Irvine, with two biology majors—Sabrina and Jacob— running PCR's by day and dancing by night. We shared a love for science and spent time in the same lecture halls, where Sabrina would save a seat for Jacob...who wouldn't show up to class. Most memorably, we found a vibrant community through dance at UCI. We bonded over our love for movement and music, and shared classes and coffee breaks throughout college. Though our friendship grew throughout college, it wasn’t until the end of our senior year that we took the leap and started dating. Right after graduation, life took us in exciting new directions—Sabrina headed to optometry school, and Jacob to nursing school. We faced the challenges of graduate school and busy schedules through long-distance, countless late-night study sessions, and way too many Facetime calls. Our relationship grew stronger than ever as we supported each other through every challenge and cheered each other on through every milestone. Now, seven years later, we're thrilled to say that we’re getting married in our favorite place—sunny California! We’re tying the knot in beautiful La Jolla, San Diego, and couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all the people who’ve loved and supported us along the way.
