Do we have to wear a mask?

Answer

We are not mandating that you wear a mask. However, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask then we are OK with that.

What type of social distancing are you putting in place?

Answer

We are going to have our tables and chairs spread apart more to allow social distancing.

What are you doing to help prevent the spread of germs?

Answer

We will have multiple hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue. There will be a bathroom with soap and water. We will have Clorox wipes in a few areas to wipe down areas that have been used.

Arrive between 11:45 am - 12:00 pm. Ceremony will begin promptly at 12:15 pm

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes. There will be signs at the venue to direct parking,

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We wanted to have our wedding be catered by something that is important to the both of us. So we decided to go with the option of having a food truck at our wedding.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We ask that our ceremony be an unplugged ceremony. We would love to see your glowing faces as you watch us vow to one another vs seeing your phones. (no matter how cool your case is). Don't worry, you can go 20 minutes without looking at your phone. During our reception, please take as many photos as you want! Make sure to include our hashtag! #gettinhicks

Will there be dancing?

Answer

To make it simple, no. We will be having the traditional "first dance", mother son dance, and father daughter dance. However, we enjoy lawn games over dancing any day. So instead of bringing your dancing shoes, strengthen that throwing arm because you will need it! However, if you have that over powering urge to boogie, we won't stop you from "cuttin the rug" :D
