Albany lodge

There are no rooms blocked off but I figured I would list this option. There is a bar and restaurant here but it is far away from Laramie and a half hour from Centennial. This would be a good option if you are not planning on doing a lot in Laramie or anything else for a quick wedding weekend getaway. It is roughly 10 minutes away from the wedding venue.

Hilton Garden Inn Laramie

We have 10 rooms blocked off for September 24-26 here and the rate per night is $129/night. The Hilton will lift the blocked off rooms by a month before the wedding. So, make sure that if you want to stay there, that you reserve it as soon as possible or by the latest, August 27. The name that you tell them the block is under is “Bankard Wedding Block”.

Directions to the Wedding Venue

The venue for the ceremony and reception are going to be in the same place. The ceremony will take place outside of the barn on the back end and then reception is inside the barn. How to get to Deerwood from Laramie is by taking HWY-130 going west for about 21 miles. Then, you turn left onto WY-11 and stay on there for about 6 miles. You should see a big metal sign saying "Deerwood" to your right and that's where you turn into the property. This is a ranch and wild horse sanctuary so please drive at an appropriate speed. The "driveway" is pretty long and you will stop and wait for 2 gates to open automatically for you before you arrive at the barn with the American flag on the big door. Make sure you are looking for the barn as the road will keep going into the ranch. It will be on your right as you are going down the driveway.
