Yoga, water sports, and picnic at the beach. Women only are invited. The men will be gathering at the same place, but hanging at the bar. Yoga starts at 11 am. The location is a great beach with an option to rent paddle boards, kayak's, snorkel gear, or boogie boards. We will have shade including from trees and umbrellas. We have sandwiches, sides, white & rose wine, hard seltzer, and still & sparkling water. Right next door is the Lava Lava beach club with more food options, a bags set, and ping pong. There is also a nice petroglyph trail nearby if you want a .9 mile hike over lava. Things to bring: - Bathing suit - Flip flops - the sand is a little rougher, but still nice - Sturdy shoes if you want to hike - Beach chair from the place you are staying if it is available - Sun screen - Hat for more sun protection - Towel (also your yoga mat) - Boogie boards from the place you are staying (if available) We end at 3 pm and reconvene for dinner with the men at Kona Brewing at 6 pm.

There is a beach club with TVs to watch the games, water sports such as stand up paddle board , kayaking, snorkeling, or boogie boarding, and bags and ping pong. We have sandwiches, sides, white & rose wine, likely beer, hard seltzer, and still & sparkling water. There is also hiking available nearby - you will need sturdy shoes for that. Things to bring: - Bathing suit - Flip flops - the sand is a little rougher, but still nice - Sturdy shoes if you want to hike - Beach chair from the place you are staying if it is available - Sun screen - Hat for more sun protection - Towel (also your yoga mat) - Boogie boards from the place you are staying (if available) We will end at 3 pm and reconvene for dinner at Kona Brewing at 6 pm.

This is a nice boat ride to Kealakekua Bay. We will likely see whales along the way and the Bay is a marine preserve with great snorkeling. The food is a plant-based menu and delicious. Bring towel & sunscreen. They have snorkel equipment or bring your own. They have floaties and see thru boogie boards for your comfort. From Alii Drive Go south on Alii Drive past the Keauhou Shopping Center to Kaleiopapa Street. Turn right on Kaleiopapa Street and follow it to the end of the road where you will find a parking lot. Park and walk back about 100 feet and you'll see the waiting area for the FairWind. From the north Take Queen K highway south to King Kamehameha III street. Turn right on King K III until you hit Alii Drive. You should see the Keauhou Shopping Center at that intersection. Turn left on Alii to Kaleiopapa Street. Turn right on Kaleiopapa Street and follow it to the end of the road where you will find a parking lot. Park and walk back about 100 feet and you'll see FairWind.

Time is tentative. Check back for more details as they are available. This is a beach wedding. you will be standing and walking on moderately coarse sand. We will have flip-flops for anyone who wants to change into a more convenient set of shoes. Dress accordingly. We should have tents for shade or protection from the elements, but some parts will be uncovered, so sunscreen would be beneficial. There will be a number of food stations, accommodating all food preferences. Please provide RSVPs by November 1. Directions from Google maps are wrong. Bathing suit and snorkel gear if you have it
This will be the event of your week. If you are a snorkeler, they have all the gear you need and a nice big flotation device to hold on to. If you are diver, they have all the gear you will need to rent. Manta rays look intimidating, but they are gentle giants who just eat the plankton that is attracted by the lights you bring with you and attached to the ocean floor. The water is only 20 - 30 feet deep. The manta rays will swim right by you, even if you are on the surface.
