Question

How far away are the hotels from the venue?

Answer

Although we highly recommend staying at the venue, the hotels are roughly 10 minutes from Historic Rosemont Manor.

Question

How do I get to and from Rosemont during the weekend?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle service the day of the wedding. For other events you will need to carpool or arrange a taxi service. UBER SERVICE IS SPOTTY IN THE AREA, PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON UBER TO GET HOME. Please email blairelizabeth54@gmail.com if you will be riding the shuttle.

Question

I didn't see a meal preference in the invitation. Do I need to make a selection?

Answer

No. We have carefully chosen a wide variety of food for our reception.

Question

How far away is Rosemont from D.C.?

Answer

From downtown Washington, D.C. Rosemont is roughly 70 minutes. The drive is beautiful.

Question

Are children allowed to join us for the weekend?

Answer

That's a heavy No.

Question

Will any part of the wedding be outside?

Answer

Yes! The grounds of Rosemont are beautiful and we intend to use them. Rain or shine (under cover in case of inclement weather, fear not!) be prepared to be outside and walking in grass. The ceremony and a portion of the cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will be indoors.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to be able to invite everyone in our lives, but unless your invitation explicitly says so, no dates allowed. We do have some really attractive friends and family though :).

Question

Can I stay at Rosemont in the guest or manor house?

Answer

The houses have limited space. To avoid issues we will be assigning both in the guest and Manor house. We will reach out directly to those staying on the property. We tried our best to find a venue that would accommodate everyone onsite, but unfortunately there is just not enough space. Luckily, the hotels are just a few minutes down the road, so you won’t be too far from the action.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Here! Zola is our home base for all things gifty - search no further.

Question

What's up with the China on your registry?

Answer

Blair and Hunter took great thought and consideration into their wedding china. They have mixed and matched pieces from George Washington's china sets to create one all their own. The entire registry can be found here on the website. However, if you would like to give an item or set from the wedding china selection, click on the item and you will be re-routed to the Mount Vernon Website. Once there, enter "Lang Wedding" into the registry lookup and it will take you to their page where you can purchase one or several items. This sounds confusing, but it is easier than it looks. If you have any additional questions, feel free to call Hunter - 904-982-8544

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, Rosemont has enough parking for anyone driving. Please use a designated driver and be safe.

Question

I’m going to be late/I’m lost. Who do I contact?

Answer

Contact anyone but the bride and groom! The points of contacts are: Morgan Williams - (804) 218-7000 Meaghan Fry - (703) 434-9053

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-tie optional. What does that mean exactly? Ladies: floor length dress, fancy cocktail dress, or dressy pant suit. Men: tuxedo or a formal dark suit.
