What is the parking situation at the venue?

Answer

If you plan on parking at the hotel/venue, valet parking is mandatory. If you are only staying for the wedding, valet is $12; if you are doing overnight parking, valet is $28. You will need to explore nearby options if you wish to avoid the valet fee.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We will need everyone's RSVP by October 1, 2025.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking that our guests dress semi-formal.

Can we check in early?

Answer

This depends on the amount of guests that the hotel is hosting the night prior to your check in. We have asked our coordinator that anyone arriving on Saturday automatically be marked down as an early check-in request, but this is not guaranteed.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Yes! The ceremony and reception will both be at Tryp Hotel.

Are the ceremony and reception going to be inside or outside?

Answer

We are hoping for a beautiful, sunny day with an outdoor ceremony. However, Pittsburgh weather can be a bit unpredictable... Therefore we are asking our guests to be prepared for either an indoor or outdoor ceremony. We will make that decision closer to the day when we know what to expect. The reception will be inside at the rooftop restaurant.

Will there be an open bar?

We will have an open bar starting at cocktail hour through 11 PM.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Instead of doing a traditional registry, we are asking that our guests contribute to our house fund! This can be found on our wedding website, under "Registry". We will also have an area for cards at the wedding.

If I’m bringing cookies, what should I do with them?

Answer

When you arrive, let the front desk know that you have cookies for the wedding and they will know what to do!
