Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Can I bring a date or kids?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding so the dress code is semi formal. The event will be taking place outdoors; we recommend shoes that will not sink into the grass.

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting the ceremony will be taking place outdoors on the lawn. The reception dinner and dance will be inside a tent, with lawn games outside.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Prevailing Winds staff will be at the roadway to greet you and direct you to parking. They will also provide golf cart shuttle service from the parking area to the ceremony. After the ceremony begins, the golf cart shuttle will only go from the reception back to parking.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

The wedding will start at 4:00, followed by a social hour until approximately 5:45. At that time there will be the grand entrance followed by dinner and dance.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a photographer to capture our day and ask that you put your phones away during the ceremony.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The self-serve open bar will include wine, beer, spritzers and our signature Old Fashioned cocktail.

Do you have a wedding registry? Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to 3634 Ice Age Drive, Madison, WI 53719. A wedding card box will be at our reception. Please refer to the Registry webpage for more specific detail.

I have dietary restrictions. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

When you RSVP, please let us know whether you prefer the vegetarian or non-vegetarian dinner option, along with any specific dietary restrictions.
