Do I need to stay at the hotel suggested?

Answer

Not at all! There is a block of rooms on hold at the Courtyard by Marriott Mahwah at a special rate for those who'd like to stay there. This is where we've arranged to have shuttles pick up and drop off from the venue. That said, you are more than welcome to find your own accommodations and transportation to and from events. Be advised, there is a limited amount of parking available at the venue in the Sloatsburg Commuter Lot.

Can I bring my _____?

Answer

(Insert significant other, child, pet, long lost twin here) While I'm sure your long-lost twin is just as awesome as you are, if their name isn't on the invitation, there won't be a seat for them. We want you to be able to be present and let loose, so if you have the luxury of showing up sans responsibilities, please do!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, should the weather cooperate (go knock on wood please), and the reception will be tented.

Question

What's the terrain? Aka, should I wear heels?

Answer

You absolutely can, but you will be walking on gravel (ceremony, cocktail hour) and turf (reception), so we'd recommend a thicker heel.

Can I post photos online?

Answer

Absolutely. However, if you do, the groom demands you use the hashtag #SloatsForLove The bride would like to make it clear that she does not condone this, but the groom pointed out that the bride already said yes to the proposal.
