Garrett and Olivia’s story began at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where Garrett was a member of Delta Chi and Olivia was part of Alpha Gamma Delta. Their paths first crossed at a party on November 1, 2019 - a night that would change their lives forever. A simple exchange of contact information led to twelve hours of effortless laughter and conversation, and by the end of the night, something just felt right. On his walk back to the dorms, Garrett called his best friend to say he’d met his girlfriend - and he was right. A few months later, on January 22, 2020, Garrett asked Olivia to be his girlfriend. When COVID struck soon after, they found themselves miles apart, but distance only deepened their bond. Daily FaceTime calls turned into a ritual of love, laughter, and falling asleep together over the phone. Since then, their journey has been filled with countless memories - moving in together in Janesville in 2022, welcoming their sweet cat Cosmo, and eventually settling into their first home in Edgerton in June 2025. Then, on August 30, 2025, Garrett proposed at Magnolia Bluff in Evansville - the same place they’d shared their first couple’s photoshoot two years earlier. Garrett and Olivia can’t wait to celebrate their love story with all of their favorite people as they begin this next beautiful chapter together.
