The Wedding Website of Hannah Cangilla and Matt Bambach
Getting to Moab Moab is a beautiful desert town, but it does take a little travel planning to get here. The closest major airports are: Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) – about a 4-hour drive to Moab. Denver International Airport (DEN) – about a 6-hour drive to Moab. If you’d prefer a shorter trip after your flight, there are regional connections available: Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) – about 1.5 hours from Moab, with daily flights from Salt Lake City, Denver, Dallas, and Phoenix. Canyonlands Field / Moab Regional Airport (CNY) – just 20 minutes outside Moab, with limited direct flights from Salt Lake City and Denver. We recommend renting a car regardless of where you fly, as the scenic drives are part of the adventure and Moab’s natural wonders are best explored with your own transportation.

Travel Note

Weather

Late May in Moab is typically warm and sunny, with daytime highs often in the 70s–80s. Since our celebration takes place at a higher elevation in the La Sal Mountains, temperatures will be a bit cooler than in town—especially in the evenings. Nights can dip into the 40s, so we recommend bringing layers, a light jacket, and comfortable shoes to stay cozy once the sun goes down.
