Where Should I Stay

Miramar Beach

Great option if you want classic beach house vibes. Lots of vacation rentals, bikeable neighborhoods, and many spots are a short golf cart ride to the beach. Close to Silver Sands Outlet Mall, restaurants, and grocery stores. Easy, convenient, very “vacation mode.”

Destin

Similar feel to Miramar but a little more central. Close to Destin Commons for shopping and dining, and easy access to the Mid-Bay Bridge if you’re flying into VPS. A mix of beach condos, rentals, and hotels. Solid, easy choice.

Destin Harbor

If you want to be in the middle of the action, this is it. More hotel options and super walkable once you’re near HarborWalk Village. Tons of restaurants, shopping, live music, and the fishing charter docks. Not directly on the beach, but high energy and fun. This will be where any activities, like a Dolphin Cruise, will be going out of!

Fort Walton Beach

Closer to our reception and a little more low-key. Short drive to public beach access. Fewer crowds, more relaxed feel. Great option if you want convenience without the busier Destin scene.

Navarre

Very laid back and typically the most budget-friendly. Reminds us of “old Destin” — small beach town energy, quiet, local, and slower paced. Furthest from most Destin restaurants and shopping, but perfect if you want peaceful beach time.

Niceville

Where we live! On the bay side — about 20 minutes to the beach. More local and residential. Great if you’d rather stay closer to us and don’t mind driving to the beach.
