Countless hikes and scenic views! If the weather is nice, it is certainly worth the drive for the best views of the valley. You can choose a laborious hike, small walk, or just park at an overlook depending on how adventurous you are (one of my personal favorites is a short, rock scramble called Bear Fence!). Buy a day pass for your car and enjoy!

Shenandoah National Park

Located just a town over (about 15 minutes from Harrisonburg), generations park in Bridgewater opens an ice skating rink for the winter! Currently scheduled to open for the 2020/2021 season on Nov. 26th.
