Amy & Julie

FlowerFlower

Wedding Party

Meet our wonderful family and friend-family that will be honoring us by joining in our ceremony. You're all so special to us! Love, Julie and Amy

Hank And Mary Balling

Amy's Parents

Our joyous celebration would never have been possible if it weren't for this duo. They are the most incredibly supportive, loving, generous and hard working people. They are always there whenever we need them. They set the perfect example for all of us of a solid strong marriage and family. We thank them for everything, from the bottom of our hearts! We are so grateful and we love you both so very much.

Peter Grimm

Julie's Father

Integrity, humility and strength mixed with love is Julie's Dad, Peter. After losing his wife to cancer, he has pressed on through the years being the best Dad and Grandfather (aka Papa) always taking care of his family. He finally retired at 71, and since then he has graciously taken on many projects in our home in his truest "Mr. Fix Anything" fashion. There will be a chair next to him during our ceremony to honor where his wife should be, but having him there is more then enough! We love you so much Papa.

Amy Marie Taravella

Matron of Honor

Julie's amazing, talented, strong and beautiful Sister who is not only MOH, but also has been playing Julie's MOB role since Mom passed away. She has been the rock of the Grimm/Taravella family. She will give some speech that will make people cry, no doubt.

Maria Rose Taravella

Maid of Honor

This piece of our hearts, is Julie's Niece. She is our light and love, along with her brother Louis. Maria is a music major at Buffalo State College an also an accomplished and talented singer and performer.

Michael Siewic

Best Man

Amy and Michael have been together as best friends for many years. They even have a polaroid picture together taken at the Pride parade in Buffalo in 2004. Amy was honored and privileged to be the witness at Michael's ceremony two years ago when he married his husband, (and Amy's other love) Jeff. Julie really just loves Brady, their dog.

Hank Balling

Honor Attendant

Hank is Amy's younger brother and the source of the most laughter among the Ballings. He's not only hilarious, but wickedly smart, handy and loves to cook for us when we camp. He is simply the best. It should be noted that he is made even better when paired with his significant other, Beth.

Ashley Winder

Honor Attendant

Ashley is Amy's fun and beautiful younger sister. She is traveling all the way from San Diego where she lives, to be in our wedding. She brings with her, her husband Zach whom she married last summer. Without all of her valuable advice and remarkable planning skills, we would have been at an extreme loss. We can only hope that this second Buffalo winter will be over by the time they get here!

Jaqueline Orlando

Honor Attendant

Jackie and Julie met over ten years ago, but ended up in Nursing School together in 2013 and they are both so thankful for it. They've been through so much with each other. At this happy point in their lives, it is perfectly fitting that Julie will also be honored to be in Jackie's wedding in September of this year when she marries her fiancee Kirsten, also at Sleepy Hollow! #RNLife

Will Clarkson

Honor Attendant

Will and Julie were also neighbors in love. Will became Julie's best friend while they both lived on Potomac Avenue. Will along with his longtime partner Michael, have been Julie's loyal friends, handymen and all around source of laughter and joy over the years. Will is Julie's brother from another mother. And actually his lovely Mom, Peggy, will also be joining us. :)

Sarah Mazzilli

Honor Attendant

Dr. Mazzilli and Julie met so many moons ago when she moved from Boston to Buffalo to attend UB as a Phd student. Since then they have been on this roller coaster of life, seeing each other through it all! They call each other "friend" but they are really family. Sarah joins us from Rhode Island to be in our ceremony, along with her fiancee Sabrina. Also her wonderful parents Nick and Marianne from Massachusetts will be in attendance.

Alanah Rzeznik

Honor Attendant

This beautiful little scrappy soul entered Julie's life during Nursing School. She was a surprising and perfect addition. Julie hopes they are always with each other through the worst and best days in life from now on too! Alanah is also a Critical Care Nurse and ended up inspiring Julie to become the same. #RNLife

Jeana Anastasi

Officiant

Jeana and Amy have known each other since 2003 and she is a wonderful soulful person, who loves Amy and truly believes in our union. We feel so lucky to have her as our ceremony officiant. When Julie asked Amy to describe Jeana, she had a one word answer... "Amazing."
