In the height of covid, we met the only way people did, on a dating app. Austin, being a huge Ohio State fan, commented on Madisons picture of her with her mother and her cousin in Ohio State gear, and Madison, an avid Alabama fan, couldn't miss the chance to jump on a conversation about football. A first date was set, and after being yelled at by her roommate that wearing leggings and tennis shoes was not an appropriate outfit for a first date (thanks Iz) Madison was incredibly thankful for changing when she showed up at Austin's downtown Dallas apartment, and was told they were walking down the road to a "The W" Wine bar. Immediately, we were making fun of each other, laughing, and 4+ hours later, Austin walked Madison to her car, kissed her and went inside. After getting in her car, Madison called 3 different people to tell them she just met her husband and here we are, getting married! We quickly began dating, and moved in together not long after. Less than a year later, we packed up and moved to Denver, Colorado, a state we plan to always call home. We still talk sports constantly, happily center our entire fall around football, play way too many Mario nintendo games, enjoy weekends in the mountains and spending slow mornings with our pets. 4 years, 3 pets, 2 states and a million laughs later, we can't wait to celebrate our biggest day yet!
