FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kelsey Schutter and Drew Ballesteros
If you have any additional questions, please let us know!
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is cocktail attire, and for October in Charlotte we suggest: mid-length dresses, elegant separates, polos, sport coats & pants, or suits. The weather can vary, but most likely will be in the mid-70s during the day and fall to 50s after dark - so bringing an extra layer may be a good idea!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside, followed by a cocktail hour. Dinner will be inside the museum lobby. In the event of rain or bad weather, we will move everything indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive about 20-30 minutes before the ceremony, which will start promptly at 5:30pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the Mint has plenty of free parking available on site. Just a reminder: be sure to set your GPS or Uber to arrive at Mint Museum Randolph (2730 Randolph Rd), as there is also a Mint Museum Uptown location.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Info regarding hotel blocks can be found by clicking the “Lodging” tab!

Question

What’s the food situation?

Answer

Cocktail hour will follow the ceremony and include a few small bites. An Italian buffet dinner will be provided during the reception. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please email us at kelseyanddrew23@gmail.com by September 21st (or include in your RSVP) so we can try to accommodate you as best as possible.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We request that any additional desired guests not addressed on the invitation envelope be confirmed with the bride or groom prior to the wedding date.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You will be able to RSVP through our website. We ask that you RSVP by September 21st at the latest, so we can plan to accommodate everyone!
