Swiping through a sea of losers, Lindsey Ball came upon Sean, slightly less of a loser. She agreed to go on a coffee date with him. After frolicking in the park and talking about stupid things with each other, they decided they enjoyed each other enough to see each other again and again... and again. Even though distance separated them, they didn't let that stop them. They took turns driving up and down to see each other every week. Sean couldn't get enough of Lindsey's weirdness and off the charts energy. And Lindsey couldn't handle Sean's ever smiling happiness and his domesticated cooking. After a few months, they started spending weekends with each other. And spending their first holidays with each others families. They were smitten.

In their second summer season together, Sean decided to take Lindsey on a trip of a lifetime with all his family to Quebec City, Quebec! Now, Sean made sure that Lindsey didn't expect anything. He kept asking her ring questions, making her believe the ring had not been purchased and the proposal was still in the far distant future. {Sigh} But while visiting the beautiful Montmorency Falls, Sean had a whole different plan. Sean let all the family members in on the lovely surprise. Everyone couldn't contain their excitement. Lindsey was also excited, but for a different reason, she loves being out in nature. Almost as must as she loves Sean. Within only a few minutes of hiking, they entered into the most enchanting gazebo full of people taking pictures of the falls. It was the best viewpoint by far. But we are not talking about the falls. It was Sean's next actions. He pretended to take a selfie with Lindsey, then got down on one knee. Sean couldn't spit out the words he so carefully practiced in the mirror. With liquid accumulating in his eyes, he asked, "Lindsey Ball, will you marry me?" Lindsey embraced his arms, and said "YES!" She was full of so much energy. The crowd went wild! Sean and Lindsey were now engaged. The next chapter will take place in the woods. See you there!
