Question

What time is the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception?

Answer

The venue will open at 3:00. Guests are welcome to say hi and grab a drink before things really get going. If you are attending the ceremony, please plan to arrive no later than 3:30 PM. Directly following the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM. Snacks from Brasa will be served along with hosted beer, wine, cider, and NA beverages. Dinner will begin at 5:30, followed by party time!

What food will there be?

Answer

We will be having catering by Brasa. There will be a great mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. During cocktail hour, we will have meat and cheese trays with crackers and accoutrements, as well as veggies with green sauce dip and chips with guacamole Dinner will be served buffet style. Mains: Roast pork, rotisserie chicken, and chickpea curry with veggies and rice (vegan) Sides: Fried plantains, coleslaw, cornbread, and macaroni and cheese Desserts are from Thirsty Whale Bakery, including cookies, brownies, and donuts! If you are like us and are always up for a late night snack, Sarpino's cheesy bread will appear around 9:00 :)

What is your dress code?

How will the bar work?

The bar will be providing beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options free to our guests Fair State Pils • Fair State Party Forward • Nordeast Sociable Ciderwerks Freewheeler Red • White • Pink • Bubbles TOST bubbles • Sparkling Cider • Heineken 0.0 • Athletic Free Wave Guests will also have access to a full bar for mixed drinks and other alcohol for purchase individually.

Is there going to be Mini-golf?

Answer

Yes! In place of a dance floor we will have 9 holes of minigolf set up in the center of the space for people to play.

Where should I park?

Answer

The Whim offers 89 private on site parking spots for your event as well as access free street parking in our quiet NE neighborhood. If you're able to carpool that would be appreciated!
