Cupid did a great job at pairing us together that day. (OkCupid Dating App, that is.) This app connects you with the person whom you are most compatible. We were each other's highest scoring compatible match at 97%! Our first date was at Herringbone, La Jolla. After talking for 3 hours, we didn't want the night to end so we found our way to a local pub where we had a couple drinks and danced the night away. After saying goodnight, we both went home with a big smile on our faces knowing that something great what about to begin.

We went to Cabo (for what Alana thought was for her birthday), but little did she know Daniel was planning to propose on this trip. Daniel went out of his way to make everything extra special... chocolates and champagne on arrival, beautiful private sunset lookout point to enjoy a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine, fancy dinner reservations. After a fun day playing in the sun and swimming in the Cabo Ocean and watching manta ray jumping out of the sea, we get dressed 'real fancy' and set out to our private sunset look out point. As the sun was setting, we were talking about our future and love for each other. Daniel suggested he take a picture of Alana facing the ocean. As Alana is posing staring out to the sea, Daniel is behind her on one knee getting the ring in hand. He tells Alana to turn around.... and you can imagine Alana is totally surprised! Daniel expresses his love and asks for her hand in marriage. Of course, she said YES YES YES! We were late to our dinner reservation, but we had a good reason. The rest of the vacation, we were telling everyone left and right that we are getting married! :) We are so excited to share this special day with you, as we make a lifetime commitment in front of you.
