There will be signs that will have something along the lines of “Brandon and Ellie” or “Riegler wedding” once you pull in to the initial parking lot at Kualoa ranch. A simple google search or Apple Maps, will get you to the right spot for “Kualoa Ranch”. Once there, the signs will lead you over to the left of the main parking lot, up through the tour area (go slow, watch for pedestrians) and up to the venue itself. There will be signs for parking to the right of the actual venue and people will guide you where to go from there.
Yes! We just ask that no kids be at the ceremony (what kid wants to be there anyways!?). We will have babysitters on site for the ceremony (think of it like Sunday school/nursery vibes) and throughout the night so you can leave them with the sitter so you can party the night away, or have some fun with them on the dance floor! However, we kindly ask that you hold on to your little’s during big events such as our first dance, mother/son dance, father/bride dance, speeches, etc. Alternatively, if you and your spouse were hoping for a night out without the kids, our babysitting service, Aloha Sitters, has offered their services to our guests as well. Their company frequently offered babysitting services in the comfort of your hotel room. If that’s something you’re interested in, feel free to check out their website at www.alohasitters.com
Wear what you are comfortable in! It’s Hawaii, nothings THAT fancy. It may rain, it’ll be very HOT, it’ll be humid, you’ll want something light and breathable. Men: nicer shorts, sandals, and a button up aloha shirt are completely acceptable. Women: a sun dress is fine! Flats definitely recommended as the venue has hills, grass, and uneven ground
As much as we love people, we’re trying to keep our special day as intimate as possible. Plus one’s will be granted to those who have been in a ROMANTIC relationship with someone of more than one year. If we have not given you a plus one, and they meet these requirements, please reach out to us. We want to plan accordingly for guests, so please don’t surprise us by assuming someone is allowed to come :)
If you do decide to drive, there will be parking available on site. Signs will be posted at Kualoa Ranch from the entrance, guiding you to the venue.
SPF 50 and lots of it...trust us! We all want that sweet tan coming home from our trip to Hawaii but trust us when we say the SPF 50 sunscreen will still get you that. August is when the sun tends to be the strongest in Hawaii. Nothing will ruin your trip worse than some really bad sunburn and this has, in our experience, been what most people underestimate the most.
