Melissa Heckart

Matron of Honor

Melissa, or "Missy" as I call her, is my seester (sister). I was thrilled to stand by her side in her wedding and I am honored to have her stand by me now. She has always been a shining example of what it is to be a caring wife, an amazing mother, and a true friend. I know she will continue to guide and support me as I enter into my marriage with Ruben.

Michael Moore

Best Man

I first met Michael in the viola studio at the University of North Texas and we quickly came to realize we would be best buds for life. Our friendship is founded on a deep appreciation for late night hangouts at Taco Bell, where we discuss all important matters, including: metal music, tomato soup, and gross bodily functions. But we also managed to have some serious talks as well about life, love, and the future. I was honored to stand by his side as his best man and I am thrilled he agreed to do the same for me.

Kaiti Hager

Bridesmaid

Kaiti has been my best friend my whole life. She was my first duet partner and she was also the first friend to show me how to maintain a fun and supportive partnership with her husband. I admire her strength, tenacity, and her deep commitment to not taking herself or life too seriously. I am honored to have her by my side as I promise to do the same in my own marriage.

Alex Smith

Groomsman

Alex has been a fantastic friend and mentor through my years at the University of Texas. It seems that whenever I hit a bump in the road, there is Alex giving me a knowing look and a sarcastic comment that always reassures me that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am lucky to have a friend like him, who knows how to redirect me when I lose my way.

Chelsea Enerson

Bridesmaid

Chelsea has been my best friend my whole life. She has taught me many things throughout our friendship, including (very importantly) how to properly eat a Kit Kat and she will be the first friend (actually important) to teach me what it is to be both a loving wife and a caring mother. I have always been blessed to have her by my side in life and that blessing continues by having her by my side at our wedding.

Kristopher Balboa

Groomsman

You can't have Batman without Robin, and Kristopher has been my Robin since day one. Well okay, technically I tricked him into being my sidekick by convincing him that Robin was way cooler than Batman, but that's an argument for another day. Kristopher has always kept me on my toes and tested my patience over the years, but he is hands down the best sidekick a guy could hope for. And even more importantly, he is a great brother and friend.

Bob & Karen Wood

Parents of the Bride

The greatest lesson I have learned from my parents' marriage is to always find a reason to laugh with one another, especially on the hard days. On those days you look for a reason to laugh until you find one, because life is too precious to not spend it smiling and enjoying the company of those with whom you surround yourself. And besides, no one else takes you as seriously as you take yourself, so relax. -Samantha

Ruben & Josie Balboa

Parents of the Groom

The greatest lesson I have learned from my parents' marriage is to always find ways to show your appreciation for the one you love. My parents never miss an opportunity to steal a kiss, snag a dance when they hear their song, or tell one another they love each other. And in times of disagreement, never be too proud to bust out an 80's power ballad to remind each other why you fell in love in the first place. -Ruben

Mac & Noah Clancey

Ushers

Mac and Noah are our fantastic nephews. They are incredibly fun and sweet kiddos and we are so happy they have agreed to assist us in our wedding ceremony. However, we suspect their greatest contributions will be on the dance floor at the reception!

For all the days along the way
