Our love story began in May 2022 with a match on Bumble, though it almost never happened. What could have easily been a missed connection became the beginning of something extraordinary. After a few missed messages, fate stepped in when Pooja reached out again at just the right moment. And this time, everything fell into place. Not long after, we met for our first date at Contra Coffee in Orange Circle. What was meant to be a casual coffee quickly turned into hours of effortless conversation, laughter and a feeling neither of us could quite explain. From the very beginning, being together felt easy, the kind of connection that feels both exciting and familiar all at once. What followed was a love story written through quiet moments, endless laughter, and unforgettable adventures. Together, we explored the different pockets of Orange County and Los Angeles, wandered through the streets of New York City, watched sunsets along the Amalfi Coast, roamed the eternal city of Rome, boated through the canals of Venice, explored the historic charm of Paris and London, danced through Miami, hiked through Big Sur, and created unforgettable memories across India. No matter where we were in the world, we’ve always felt most at home with each other. In April 2025, Balbir planned the perfect beginning to forever. He brought Pooja back to where their story first started in Newport Beach. He planned a day filled with all of her favorite activities, a collection of moments woven together with care and intention. As the sun began to set, he led her to a quiet stretch of beach, where time seemed to stand still. There, with the sound of the waves around them and the beauty of the sunset creating the perfect backdrop, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. It was everything she could have dreamed of—and an easy "yes." Looking back, we are so grateful for the chance encounter that brought us together and for every moment that has followed. What began with a swipe has grown into a love built on friendship, laughter, and unwavering support. Now, surrounded by the love of our family and friends, we cannot wait to begin this next chapter together.
