We first met on a whirlwind business trip to Beirut, Lebanon while both working at Epic. Claire was reading a book by the pool while Michael was taking a swim, and it seemed like we kept ending next to each other for the rest of the trip. A shared jetlagged sleeplessness led to hundreds of WhatsApp messages over the course of the next couple of months and ultimately ended with our first date at a Flaming Lips concert. Claire survived an unexpectedly weird band and concert, and Michael survived a very, very tired Claire as she had landed three hours before the show after being in Dubai for three weeks. It did not take very long after that first date to know that we both had found our person and are thrilled that it has led to this day!
