When Should I RSVP?

What is the attire?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. For a more masculine look this means: suit jacket, slacks, tie, and dress shoes. For a more feminine look this means: formal pantsuit with blouse, jacket or sport coat, dress shoes, or a formal dress past the knees and dress shoes. We kindly ask that you do not wear loud colors. A rhyme to remember is: not white and not bright! This is a AUTUMN wedding and we encourage all guests to consider blues, greens, earth tones, greys, mauve, browns, dark maroons, etc.

When do I need to be at the venue?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue no later than 4:15pm. Late parties will not be permitted entrance into the garden. Transportation will be leaving from the Hampton Inn in Elk Grove at 3:45pm.

How will I get to the venue?

Answer

In an effort to ensure all of our guests arrive and make it home safely, we will be providing an optional shuttle from Hampton Inn & Suites Sacramento-Elk Grove Laguna I-5 to and from the venue. The road to the venue is dark and windy at night and we want all guests to feel comfortable and enjoy their time. Guests do not have to stay at the hotel to use the shuttle. The shuttle will leave the hotel at 3:45pm and head back to the hotel from the venue at 9:30pm Please respond on the RSVP if you are interested in the shuttle to and from the venue. There is parking available at the venue for those not using the provided transportation.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying at Hampton Inn & Suites Sacramento-Elk Grove Laguna I-5 in Elk Grove on Friday night. This is where the group transportation will be leaving from as well. Please see the Travel tab for more information on how to book the room block. Please reach out if you have any additional questions.

Can we take photos on a phone or camera?

Answer

We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture our day and will be asking for a fully unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from all electronics until cocktail hour.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors at sunset. The weather in November is usually nice but chilly at night. We recommend bringing a formal jacket or shawl to cover up during the ceremony. The reception will be all indoors with a warm fireplace.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding will be intimate to enjoy with our loved ones, we are not expecting +1s at this time. If your partner is invited, their name is included on your Save the Date and Formal Invitation.
