Mutual friends, fireworks, and a little matchmaking were all it took for Jack and Caroline’s story to begin. Jack was at a Fourth of July party in Austin hosted by the Fetters, and the Kraners, long-time friends of Caroline’s, were also in attendance. The two couples wasted no time playing Cupid, despite the small challenge that Caroline lived three hours away in Dallas. A few weeks later, Jack’s work trip to Dallas turned into a double date. They played putt-putt, grabbed dinner, and immediately hit it off. Not long after, Jack drove from Austin to take Caroline on their first official date, then drove all the way home the same night. That quiet effort stayed with Caroline, and she had a feeling this would be the beginning of something special. Jack and Caroline’s continual effort and commitment to one another allowed them to fall in love while being long distance. A three-hour drive didn’t feel so far anymore, and date nights got creative over FaceTime, Spotify jams, and Netflix watch parties. As their love grew, the distance between Dallas and Austin felt smaller and smaller, and the life they were building together seemed inevitable. They are now counting down the days with full hearts, excited to celebrate the beginning of the rest of their lives with all of you!
