We'll keep it brief, but we know a good love story is always popular. We met a year and a half ago in the hallway at church talking about music and podcasts. That simple, that normal. Christine had just moved to Salt Lake City from Los Angeles, not two weeks before, and we connected over our love for California and the arts. Our first date ended up being at the symphony, which is still one of our favorite date spots (pre-pandemic). It's a wild ride to date in your thirties when you've already become independent and self-sufficient, but we found the value in putting in the hard work and falling in love through living real life together. Michael proposed at Christmas, in his hometown, the Bay Area, with all of his boys choir brothers from childhood serenading Christine with the classic Chapel of Love by The Dixie Cups. We never could have imagined the coming pandemic, but it's brought us closer together and polished us up as we've navigated quarantine and re-invented a wedding. The blessings have far outweighed the trials, and we are so grateful to be together in this new chapter.
