Our journey began at North 48 on April 9, 2022 while celebrating a mutual friend's birthday. By the end of the night we had exchanged numbers and set our first date for April 14th. Turns out we clicked so well that our first date ended up being 6 hours because we got along so seamlessly. We ended up bonding over our love for reading (or in Michael's case audiobooks) and the outdoors. From there we found ourselves on endless adventures including reading each other's favorite series, camping, and exploring. Rumour has also accepted Michael into the family and is equally as demanding at getting his attention. In December of 2024 we prepared to take the next step and move into an apartment together. Knowing I wanted a more intimate proposal, Michael waited for us to pick up the keys to our apartment and proposed in our brand new living room. Being the romantic he is, Michael hid a Go-Pro to record him popping the question. It was so fun to watch the surprise! Little did I know he had recorded himself when he picked up the ring, when he asked for my parent's blessing, and a few days leading up to the proposal so that he could share the journey with me. We can't wait to start our next chapter together on September 4th, 2026 surrounded by friends and family!
