Kualoa Ranch & Zipline
its no secret that many movies have been filmed on the beautiful island of Oahu, and Kualoa ranch is home to many of those famous movies. King Kong, Jurassic World, and many more were filmed here. There are many tours you can take that will show you props and where those movies were filmed. There are other tours like zip lining, ATV, and horseback riding.
Kualoa Regional Park
This beach park is well known for its little island right off shore called "Chinamans Hat" it is so easy to paddle board to, kayak to, or even swim to with its shallow waters. You can also hike up the island and have a beautiful view of the Ko'olau mountains.
Roy's Beach House
Not only is this where Sammy works but, we LOVE this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Their food is more than excellent! Day time is relaxing and you cant watch the waves crash while you enjoy lunch (The burger is our favorite). Dinner has much more of a romantic feeling with the dim lights and some outside seating. The chocolate souffle' is to DIE FOR! PLEASE make a reservation if you are wanting to eat at Roys beach house it makes the flow of the restaurant so much better, plus it guarantees you a table without a long wait! If you are making a reservation let them know that you are here for Sammy and Kahus wedding!
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
Another one of our favorites is Gyu Kaku. It is a Japanese BBQ where you cook most of the food yourself over a fire grill. The prices are very good and they even have happy hour prices for food and drinks!
U.S.S. Arizona Historic Marker
If you would love to see a part of American history Pearl Harbor is a must see!
Waimea Bay
One of the most popular and beautiful beaches on Oahu. In the summertime it is flat with little to no waves and good for family time. There is also a rock for all ages to jump off of.
Waiahole Poi Factory
The Poi factory gives you a taste of real Hawaiian food! It looks just like a little hole in the wall off the side of the road but dont let that fool you! The sweet lady ice cream dessert is a must. and if you havent already TRY POI
KIX BBQ
This is another little hole in the wall that if you blink you will miss it. The lunch plates are great and they give you so much food for your money!
Diamond Head
this is such a beautiful hike to over look a creator and also the busy beaches of Waikiki. Make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen and bug spray. there isnt much shade either so wear a hat!
Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail
This hike is one of our favorites! It is not difficult and the road is paved the whole way. Great for family of all ages! However there is NO SHADE so be prepared! Lots of sunscreen and hats! AND WATER
Crouching Lion Hike
Dont do this hike on a rainy day@ It is also best to watch the sunrise from so an early hike is recommended!
Polynesian Cultural Center
Go see the culture of the islands! It wont disappoint
Sea Life Park Hawaii
If you would love to see some of the wild life that hawaii has to offer go to sea life park! They have swimming with dolphins, seal and dolphin shows, shark feedings and of course you can see Sammy’s favorite animal the HONU or green sea turtle!
