What a Coincidence!

March 2008

Nina and Scott met through a mutual friend in March 2008. It was a fairy tale then after for the too. Scott was this charming guy, who was at the time pursuing his Degree at Chicago State University in Computer Science and Mathematics. As to, Nina was working on her Hospitality Certification at Stanford University. Both Nina nor Scott was not looking for a relationship but the chemistry between the two was undeniable. Nina thought Scott was such a confident and handsome guy! After a short conversation between the too at her friend's house, Nina thought was cute but was too cocky! However, a confident man was something Nina was looking for in her next relationship. Scott thought Nina was very jazzy yet sassy, but he liked the challenge Nina brought to him. If anyone knows Scott, then you know he likes a good challenge. Scott tried connecting with Nina the first 2 weeks not knowing she had gave him her land line phone number instead of her cellphone number. Nina had given Scott the run a rounds until she was ready mentally for what was to come next. Their first date was chilling in Nina's townhouse in the living room listening to neo-soul and old school music and drinking crown royal with great conversation until 5 am the next morning. Then after the relationship took off for nothing but success. Scott and Nina had life plans together, even though it was not traditional, it was their plan! They both returned to school again to pursue their careers. Shortly after they both graduated, they both received high ranking job opportunities on the exact same day around the same time. In March 2017 Scott and Nina purchased they're first home together. On August 4th, 2019, Scott asked Nina to marry him while on a cruise in the Bahamas, she was completely shocked yet happy. March 21,2020 they will become one union as a blended family.
