Our story began in January of 2018 when we met for our very first date. Five days after meeting, we decided to make it official, and five days after that, we knew we were in love. We have been inseparable ever since those chilly January days, growing personally and professionally, always together. We dated throughout our time in college, quarantined together at the start of the pandemic, and then moved in together with our three roommates in the fall of 2020. We finished our degree programs (Tristan with his master's in December of 2021 and Bailey with her bachelor's in May of 2022) and found jobs in Mount Pleasant, MI before Tristan proposed in late May of 2022. Since then we've had moves, career changes, and adopted our three cat daughters--Opal, Sol, and Luna. During our (nearly) four years engaged, we had tried to plan a more traditional wedding, but it never really felt like "us". We made the decision in the fall of 2025 to elope during our school's spring break and we couldn't be happier with our experience; our elopement trip was absolutely perfect! We traveled across the country and back over a period of 9 days, stopping to sight see, having some fun experiences, and marking some items off of our bucket list in the process! And we got married right in the middle of it :) We could never imagine celebrating without you all, so we have decided to host a more casual reception/celebration/shower on October 4th in Remus, MI.
