Sometimes clichés are correct. Kathryn and Ryan have been unknowingly connected since elementary school. Growing up a year apart, Kathryn and Ryan attended Spring Hill Elementary School, Cooper Middle School, Langley High School, and James Madison University before making our professional moves to Rockville, Maryland. After somehow dodging each other for nearly 20 years, we finally met and hit it off immediately. It was a cozy winter weekend where we happened to both be watching Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring. We immediately started the movie over and started texting back and forth our favorite lines as they came up. Fast forward a couple of years and here we are. Two kids who grew up in adjacent social circles, but needed to meet at the opportune moment. We are so excited for what is yet to come.
