Free science museum in downtown Raleigh!
State Farmers Market
A huge farmers market outside of downtown Raleigh, and walking distance from where we live! This is one of our favorite weekend activities. It will probably be busy, so plan to go early! And if you get a chance, try Farmers Market Restaurant!
Downtown Cary Park
An amazing park to walk around in downtown Cary. A bunch of restaurants and breweries within a few minutes of the park.
William B. Umstead State Park
A great spot for long hikes if you feel like getting outside. We usually do the loblolly trail for a long hike. It is a huge park, so make sure you plan out what trail you are going to!
Dix Park
Raleigh's "Central Park" that has some very cool outdoor space. Check out the "Dambo Trolls" if you get a chance.
