Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Michaela Smith and Jacob Bailey
♡ For our out of towners, we highly suggest using your holiday weekend to take an extra day and explore all Cincinnati has to offer. Below is a list of our favorite places and Cincy's best. We hope you fall in love with our city the way that we have! ♡
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden

3400 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220

The Cincinnati Zoo is our FAVORITE place to go together! We get passes every year and spend way too much time here. With or without children, we think everyone should experience our zoo! OUR HIGHLIGHTS: Galápagos Tortoises - in honor of our favorite trip together ♡ Hippo Cove - you must meet Fiona & Fritz! Elephant Trek - brand new, incredible habitat for the elephants! Insect House - Jake's favorite! (yuck) Night Crawlers - this nocturnal house is home to a Bearcat (go UC!) Michaela's favorite ♡

Cincinnati Museum Center

Cincinnati Museum Center

1301 Western Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45203

If we're not at the zoo, you can find us here! Situated in Union Terminal, the Cincinnati Museum Center consists of multiple museums and an Omnimax theater. Beyond the museums, Union Terminal is one of the great Art Deco buildings in the US. If history is your thing, stop here on your trip to Cincinnati! HIGHLIGHTS: Architecture - The rotunda lobby is worth the visit on its own! Architecture tours of the building run every Friday-Sunday. The building exterior and rotunda are featured in the newest Superman movie! History - Right when you enter the history museum, you will find a 1/64 replica of downtown Cincinnati and surrounding neighborhoods. It is stunning and the true highlight of the entire museum. Can't miss it! Science - As you move through the science museum, you will find the entrance to a realistic cave, complete with multiple floors, bats, and dripping stalagtites! Omnimax - This 5-story domed theater has showings all day - if you love documentaries, don't miss this!

Over-The-Rhine

Over-The-Rhine

Cincinnati, OH

Over-the-Rhine is one of our favorite areas to visit on the weekends. Below are a few of the best ways to spend a day in OTR: Findlay Market - This is Ohio's oldest market, and a great place to stop for shopping, breakfast, and lunch. Washington Park - City Flea will be happening at Washington Park on June 20th from 10-3. This is a great opportunity to shop, walk around the park, and enjoy the sunny day! Streetcar- The best way to see Cincinnati is to ride the free Streetcar! The Streetcar runs on a 3.6 mile loop between OTR and downtown, stopping at all the major spots - Paycor Stadium & Great American Ballpark at The Banks, Washington Park, Findlay Market, & more!
